Michael Pare age
Just a side note that he was only 25 when making this movie. I saw it as a kid and you could’ve told me he was 40 and I’d have believed it.

sharefunny - i just turned this on (first time watch) and one of the cops refers to him as a juvenile delinquent. he's clearly no juvenile. i think you're being a little harsh in saying he could be 40, but he's clearly not a kid anymore.
speaking as a generally staunch hetero, i will say he's a super handsome guy.
I thought the juvenile delinquent comment was a joke
shareI think Pare always looked mature for his age (not older) .
sharejust like Chistopher Lambert was 40 in the first Highlander
shareIt's weird because he looked older for his age but also looked younger for his age as he got older. He also seemed to be eternally handsome. It's a shame that his career got stuck in B-movie purgatory.
Streets of Fire was also such a highly influential movie on pop-culture despite being a box office bomb.
I doubt it would do much better if it were re-released, but Pare was such a super-cool, suave hero in that film. He helped elevate it to the next level. It's a shame there's no one in the movies these days to mirror the kind of charisma he showcased in the film.
