Special effects alone cannot save a movie as incompetent as this.
shareThe gore was great but yeah it's a drag. Very tedious whilst only clocking in at 81 mins.
I respect the hustle and what they were trying to do but the very low budget and lack of previous filmmaking experience is on show.
It's similar to other low budget splatter films like The Evil Dead (1981) and Bad Taste (1987). Those films though were helmed by Sam Raimi and Peter Jackson, the talent they possess was on show and they made those films great.
