Underrated Gem, should get a remake or sequel possibly?

Just seen this because I seen Angry Video Nerd posted it up on his website a review on it. But I didn't watch his review because it probably has spoilers but I caught a glimpse of the monster and thought it was cool looking. I enjoyed the movie, I thought it was pretty cool. Not the greatest movie in the world so if you go in with high exceptions you'll probably be let-down. I give it a solid 7/10, worth a watch for Horror/Monster enthusiasts. This is probably a movie you're either going to like or hate. Also, the copy I seen of this movie had some of the worst sound quality I've ever heard in a movie. I think I heard this movie was low budget so that is possibly the reason? I had to turn up my tv volume to hear a lot of things being said.

Who else agrees? I give his movie a solid 7/10, but with a slightly better written story I think it could be a masterpiece. He had a lot of great ideas tho. You know all those great movies like Nightmare on Elm Street and The Thing that get unnecessary reboots/remakes. Well, this is one of those movies that I personally believe would do great with a remake with a better written story. I'm not dissing the story at all, but I think adding some things could add some more spice to it.

Can't honestly believe some reviewers on here are bashing the movie, I guess they don't realize this movie came out in 1983 so yeah some of the special effects wouldn't be the greatest but it's not like this movie had a high budget or even a half decent budget. I've heard this movie is a very low budget movie. I thought the monster effects were done pretty good, I think the people are bashing the effects like heads(almost every early 80's move even with a bigger budget than this had cheesy effects when it came to heads)
