Which DVD Has Best Picture Quality?

I want to get The Deadly Spawn on DVD, and there are a few such releases on Amazon. However, I want to be sure I choose one with the BEST picture quality. So which one would you recommend, guys?

There is, of course, the Blu Ray too, although a little expensive.

The one that I bought by Synapse has great quality. I bought it back in 2004 or 2005 and it still plays great!

But do Synapse do a UK Region B compatible disc?
