I'm a fan of the book and...
No where in the book is Larry Darell portrayed as some sort of joker, yet Bill Murray couldn't help putting his comedic touch into it and ended up ruining the whole character. Not to mention the kicking and smashing Bill Murray's Larry does.
Disappointing adaptation.
