Love This film. First saw it on the BBC 2 show Moviedrome in the late 80's. Still watch it regularly. As the film finishes I always wonder how long the power would last and what they (and other survivors) would do once it was gone? Still I like to think there would be time to 'enjoy' the city before they had to worry about that.
Here's hoping the blu-ray comes out soon.
Yes I loved watching this movie as well! I use to see it on the weekends back in the day on the old USA Network before it was sold to NBC in 1998 and the programming was forever changed to the crap that they show on TV now. USA UP ALL NIGHT use to show this as well back in the day late on Friday and Saturday nights with Rhonda Shear on Friday nights and Gilbert Gottfried on Saturday nights.
