'Bad man! Bad man! Bad man!...'

This movie has been on alot on in the last year and I'm somewhat appalled at something I've noticed. Each time I've caught the beginning I made sure to watch an early scene--the one with Dabney Coleman. Remember when he takes Gonzo and Carmella the chicken hostage after he tries to rip off the muppets? Well thats supposed to be followed by the climactic scene where animal attacks him and the cops get him. The scene is there but they cut out the important detail that animal is supposed to be screaming "BAD MAN!!" over and over again. They just wiped out the audio of that. The whole scene feels quite bizarre without it.

The first time I saw this, the movie was on some *movies for women* channel, so i figured they got rid of "bad man..." because they didn't want a bad rep for being anti-male. It's as good an explanation as any. But then on other channels it's also the same. I've also actually seen it where the final three or four screams are still included! So I don't get this. There's something strange going on.

i cant believe they took out the lines!! Animal has always been one of my favorite characters and any lines they give him alway rock! i love that whole scene from start to finish. the way Camilla's wings just start flappin every where and feathers flying. Makes me smile to think about it!

You hear that New York! The frog is staying!-KERMIT

I just watched what I believe is the most recent DVD version of it and the audio was still intact on it. You're right that it wouldn't be funny without it.

It's on the dvd. I've never watched it on t.v. or anything. I think that line is especially funny coming from Animal. I mean, in the first scene he is screaming woman, like "Wo man! Wo man! Wo man!" and in this one instead of being a wo-man it's a bad-man that he's screaming.
