. . . because if it wasn't, it should have been and would have been a nice memorial to the man. You don't have to be a huge Muppets fan to hear that song and get a little emotional. Great song.

They sang "Lydia The Tattoo'd Lady" (an old song that was performed on the muppet show) "Turn the World Around" that is what I know.

shareThey did it on a special tribute on Entertainment Tonight (I think it was that, if not ABC World News) It was pretty sad. I was only 1 when he died so I didn't see this until recently. The clip is somewhere on Youtube
They had Big Bird sing Bein Green at the memorial service, and poor Carroll Spinney was choked up and crying inside the suit so it sounded like Big Bird was crying. :(
