Did IMDB make a mistake?

Danny Potts, who according to imdb plays tarzan at age 5, is listed as having been born in 1970.This movie is from 1984, and assuming it was filmed a year before(in 1983), that would mean Danny Potts was 13 when he filmed this.See where I'm getting at here?

IMDB sometimes is not accurate, this is rare as they tend to be very accurate, but there are some profiles for actors that are either incomplete or innacurate. This is undoubtedly one of those cases.
