By LARRY O'DELL Associated Press Writer December 14, 2005 RICHMOND, Va. -- Lawyers for a former Green Beret convicted in the 1970 slayings of his wife and daughters, a crime dramatized in the best seller and miniseries "Fatal Vision," say a new witness has come forward and the court should throw out his murder convictions.
LOl, it's on the courtv website, my rebuttal that is, LOL
Your link doesn't work there so I can't read the story. But once again, it's just MacDonald and his mouth. There's absolutely no evidence that Helena Stockeley was anywhere near his apt committing murder. He's the killer and no one else. He got what he deserves, three life terms. this appeal will fizzle and die like the rest of them. In my opinion it's designed to throw smoke in the eyes of his supporters when the dna tests come back inconclusive.
I think we will find that Blackburn did not lie. I haven't really followed this. I am sick to my soul of MacDonald and do not post on his case any longer. The subject matter really got to me.

actually he didn't win a motion for a new trial, all he won was the permission to ask the court for a hearing to ask for the conviction to be vacated, or a new trial. This is just more of his ridiculous conspiracy crap.
He most certainly has not won a motion for a new trial. More MacKiller lies. The fourth district accepted the motion...period..nothing more. There has not even been a hearing granted as yet. The defense is scrambling now, delaying. They are now questioning whether Judge Fox had the authority, by jurisdiction, to grant the dna tests. What a hoot. The dna tests did not go his way so he questions the judge who granted him the right to dna test the evidence.
MacDonald will never stop. It's your tax dollars he's eating away year after year to feed his narcissism. Someone should finally put a stop to this monster's continued utilizing the courts to garner attention for himself. Never seen anything like it. It's the most litigated case in american history. The courts should finally call it a day and stop granting him court time with frivolous appeals and motions.
