The quoted user comment is wrong.
The biggest problem is that it doesn't even comment on the movie! It is an uninformed rant against the book, based on the book Fatal Justice.
Even as to the case, rather than the movie, it starts out wrong immediately off the bat. The user, "dtucker86", claims that the book Fatal Vision is what put Jeff MacDonald in prison. This is ridiculous. The book was written years after the conviction.
And it then relies on many of the stories, reported in the book Fatal Justice, of people who came out of the woodwork trying to become part of this celebrated case in one way or another.
You can nibble around the edges all you want. Let's call an egg and egg -- he did it. The evidence in the case is overwhelming, and his story makes no sense whatsoever, no matter what persons claim they saw people lurking around outside 544 Castle Drive.
Minds that are easily swayed might follow Fatal Justice, but I've read both, and other literature on the case besides, and there is no question that MacDonald, and no one else, murdered his family that night.
