watched the movie today

I love these types of movies. I watch so many Lifetime movies, it's not even funny. This was originally a miniseries, but they showed all 4 hours straight on Lifetime today. Whenever I watch something like this, I wonder if it's based on a true story and how accurate it is. I figured it was based on a true story, but had no idea how huge this case was and still is to some extent. I've learned a lot from reading this message board.

Based on the movie, I think he's guilty. Of course, that's all I know about the case and it can't be completely accurate or even complete at all. It was pretty close though right? In any case, it was well made and acted. Gary Cole was convincing as a sociopath. I just watched him in another movie where he played a bad guy so it was pretty easy to accept him in this.

During the movie, I was wondering, since it took place in the 70s, if they would ever do DNA testing. Well I got my answer from this message board. His hair in her hand confirms it. He's guilty. It's still crazy to think this guy is real. Sad really.
