I knew him in High School, did you?

I went to school with jeff, he graduated one year before me, I didn't know him all that well, but I think he is insent.
Anyone else knew him???

reply

No i never met the killer.

reply

Brilliant!

reply

no but I know somebody who knew him and collette, she said he used to slap her around a lot, shows what a coward, and whimp he is.

reply

mmm hmm

reply

Insent. Did you mean to type insensitive or innocent? I vote for the former, myself.

reply

anyone who think he's innocent needs to check out www.thejeffreymacdonaldcase.com all the evidence is shown

reply

Fred and Mildred Kassab who REALLY knew him, thought he was innocent, too.

Then they looked at the facts. Have you looked at the facts yet?

No rational person with even an ounce of reason could believe this man is innocent. No one. There are countless pieces of evidence to point to his guilt, but I will name two that I believe could convict him all on their own.

1-Pajama top - Pocket ripped off in the bedroom, fibers under the body, icepick holes match wounds on Colette, blood stains before it was ripped, no fibers in the living room or hall

2-A doctor trying to save his children doesn't even turn on a light?

reply

I agree also he claims he did cpr on the children, both were found laying on their sides in bed, he would of had to lay them on the floor flat in order to do cpr. I can't believe people are fooled by his b.s.

reply

Jeff is really good i guess.

One of the most interesting aspects about him is how often he lies.

I laughed when he said (in so many words) that the U.S. Army accusing him of murdering his wife and their daughters was absurd, yet his story about four home-invading hippies (with one of them holding a candle while chanting "Acid is groovy, kill the pig!") was perfectly credible.

Maybe part of the reason why you didn't know Jeff too well in high school is because he only attended Patchogue Medford High School for only a few years. Are you aware that his parents sent him to live with relatives in Texas during his sophomore year in high school?

Therefore, if you are who you say you are, then you would have only known Jeff during his junior and senior year of high school. During Jeff's freshman year of high school you were in a different school building than Jeff. You were in the Middle School/Junior high school building while Jeff was in the high school building. In Jeff's sophomore year he was sent to live in Texas, so even though you both would have been in the high school building, (he was a sophmore, you were a freshman), he was living in Texas. Jeff came back to Patchogue Medford high School in his junior year. That means you would have been in the same school building for 2 years. I highly doubt you went to school with him.

What is your name? I have a copy of the 1961 Patchgoue Medford High school yearbook (the year Jeff graduated HS). Even though you were only a junior, your name and picture would be listed in the Junior Class photos.

BTW, I've been studying the case for the past 30 years. I grew up in Oakdale, just a few towns west of Patchogue. I've had the opportunity to speak with classmates of Jeff and Colette - Frank Leavandowsky, Karen Leavandowsky, Dean Chamberlain, Dick Barry, Jack Barry.

I know how hard it is to believe that Jeff could murder his family, especially if you knew Jeff growing up in Patchogue. He and his siblings were very popular in high school and in Patchogue. His mother worked in the Patchgogue Medford school system. His family was very gregarious. You could always find family and friends gathered at the house after high school football games and always during the holidays. All of Jeff's Jay's and Judy's friends wanted to hang out at the MacDonald home. They always had an "open door" policy - the more, the merrier.

However, with that said, you cannot deny the physical evidence at the murder scene. The evidence does not lie. The evidence points to one person and only one person - Jeff! He is responsible for the murder of Colette, Kimmy, and Kristy. I don't believe Jeff meant to kill them. It was truly an accident (except for Kristy). But it did happen. It was a fight that got out of control and before he knew it, Jeff was in a situation where he was way over his head. He got into a fight with his wife, and there she lay at his feet, in the master bedroom, both arms broken, nose broken, contusions on her face and to her head, bleeding to death. His daughter Kimmy woke up in the middle of the fight and she got caught in the middle. She was dealt a deadly blow with the wooden 2x4 club and then there was Jeff, standing there, deciding what to do. He had 2 choices - he could call the police for help and call an ambulance or he could finish off his family and do a cover up. He made the wrong choice in a desperate effort to save his own hide. He made his choices, he made his bed. He deserves to rot in jail for the rest of his life!

reply

Well said. Hopefully the vivid memory of MacDonald holding his two-year-old daughter Kristy in his lap and stabbing her to death will accompany him on his trip to Hell.

But I am sure that by now he has lied so often that he has wiped out any memory of the murder and is convinced of his own innocence.

No. he's a narcissist and a sociopath who have problems showing any empathy to anyone else, a disregard for the feelings of others, a lack of remorse or shame, manipulative behavior, unchecked egocentricity, and the ability to lie in order to achieve one's goals. These are just some of the classic signs of a sociopath. They also use charm and have high level of charisma that tend to attract other people who want to be around them. They're pathological liars, they are incapable of loving others, have high intelligence and seek to win at all cost (all of his appeals) and they can never apologize to others for their behavior and try to play the victim. These are all the things that make up Jeffrey MacDonald. Oh, he would've been a horrible doctor since all of the focus would always have been about himself and not the patient. They don't have much empathy or concern for others.

Sociopaths are masters at weaving elaborate fictional explanations to justify their actions. When caught red-handed, they respond with anger and threats, then weave new fabrications to explain away whatever they were caught doing. I have no doubt he has relived those last moments of their deaths a thousands of times in his mind, but only because he goes over what he did wrong the first time. It was this story that made me very curious about how the minds works and how some people justify their actions and behavior.
