Really, 'ACID IS GROOVY'?


The phrase ACID IS GROOVY tells me right there that McDonald is guilty of at the least, lying about the hippies doing it. That's the phrase that only a square person would use, someone trying to make it seem like a Manson like cult committed theses atrocities.

I completely agree. There was a magazine with a detailed article about the Manson murders (the crime occured less than 1 year after the 1969 slayings) in the MacDonald home. He probably read the article and thought it was a great way to blame the murders on a group of "crazed hippies".
The forensic evidence speaks for itself. But the circumstantial evidence is fascinating in this case as well. But just to think what he did to 3 innocent people just
to shirk his responsibilities is horrifying.

I agree also that he got the idea for the phrase from the magazine article on the Manson Family.
