HBO will not release it...
It seems like HBO never will release it onto DVD. It's 22 years since it was broadcasted. And ppl are still looking for it. It's amazing but it is one of the best ever done on this subject!

shareThey just don't know what a good thing is I guess :(
What a shame!
Damn. I remember coing into this movie late, and wondering what the hell the news was doing on the Movie Channel. I'd love to see it again. It gave me chills, growing up with the nuclear scare (I was in Gr 7 when Ronald Rayguns came into office. My teacher apologized for his generation. And we're Canadian!)
This is a movie that really needs a push by fans to get it released. I remember watching this movie when I was in school and have been searching for it for years.
shareMy wife and I were in New York about a dozen years ago and were leaving our hotel to go to the airport to catch our flight home. Just as you did, my son turned on the TV and came into this movie mid-way through it. It was like walking into the middle of the Orson Welles broadcast of the War of the Worlds. Turns out half the hotel was in a panic.
A very well-done, hard-hitting, impactful film, from what I saw of it.
theres no hope for your brainwashing.
im not saying you should think one particular way, but when your educator "apologizes" for his/her generation, that tells me you probably were putty in the hands of the liberalism of academia...moreseo as a canadian.
Thanx Nelfarion for bing the obligatory moron in this thread
shareIt is available, in complete form, on Youtube.

It's probably not being put on DVD because it appears to have been Canadian made. A LOT of Canadian productions back then involved contracts not with the cast but with the crew and to re-air shows or put them on VHS. There are lots of Canadian shows that aired back in the day and went into network vaults, never to be seen again.
