If this were remade today
And I hope that it never will be. I can foresee already the huge changes that would be forthcoming:
1) The kids would never be able to enter a building today with a toy gun and not get shot.
2) Kids carrying any sort of backpack would be searched and the items in question confiscated.
3) Kids. alone. on a bus pass. Never happen today.
4) The kid picking up an actual gun and shooting a bad guy with it. It wouldn't be shown today.
5) The airplane bomb in the walkie talkie wouldn't be shown today.
6) Basically, all of the creativity would be taken out.
7) Dabney Coleman would be missing and that would just suck.
