Wow this film could have really been 30 minutes.
It seemed liked they dragged this story.
I agree. It's a cool concept, but yeah it loses steam pretty quickly.

Yeah. A few weeks ago, I saw it for the first time since I was little and thought the same thing. I will note that the main characters in the film are more likeable than they were in the short story. That aspect is actually an improvement.
