Criterion recently released 'Blow Out' (one of De Palma's best). I wouldn't mind seeing them release more his "Hitchcock" films on BluRay ('Sisters,' 'Carrie,' 'Dressed to Kill,' 'Body Double'). If they do so, I hope we get back the classic original cover with the man peeping at the woman.

i wud hope they can get their hands on phantom of the paradise also
scarface is also on its way soon not criterion but looks like its one of those nice steel book cases.
not so sure about the others yet.
i know obsession is coming out on arrow films bluray in june in uk
im waiting for sisters and body double for sure......i was also glad to c murderalamod on blow out ;)
maybe even raising cain, femme fatale, & snake eyes might b nice 2....one of those cud pop up in a double feature or sumthing....u never know

If Body Double is released on Blu Ray, it'll likely be something that Sony licences to Image like Against All Odds, another classic sexually charged thriller from '84.

I just discovered where I could pre-order the Blu-ray about 12 hours ago, and have put in my order. Something like half of the 3,000 released units are already pre-ordered. I think they might be just about all sold by the release date, which is AUGUST 13 2013, not September. If you want it, better order it soon. It's pricy now, but will get much more expensive after the release is sold out. Consider the price of Blu-rays for Christine [1983] or Journey to the Center of the Earth [1959], limited releases that are long sold out. They now sell for $100 or so each.
You can preorder the Body Double Blu-ray for $29.95 + $4.35 shipping from Screen Archives Entertainment. That's http://www.screenarchives.com/ as flyman-2 said previously. There is an order cap: Maximum of 3 copies per person, possibly to keep ordinary shoppers happy with SAE for not letting scalpers snatch up the whole release.
Some portion of the Body Double Blu-ray pre-release has been acquired for sale on the Turner Classic Movies website: http://www.tcm.com/ where they are $34.95 + $5.95 shipping.
