Would anyone instantly recognize a woman based on how she gyrates? I find it hard to believe.

It was not about how she gyrates. It was a dance routine. A specific routine or set of movements that he recognized.

It always struck me that Melanie Griffith and Deborah Shelton have completely different body types. Seems for the allusion to work to it's fullest, 2 women similar in build would've worked better.
