Its an intriguing film.
De Palma is a flawed director but hardly awful.

shareI really liked it....probably because i saw it at just the right age.
I was around 14 when I caught this on late night cable....and it was GREAT!
Obviously, I really liked the amazing T&A.
But also, it was captivating.
That super cool house.
The music.
The creepy villain.
The murder. (Spooky)
It was all rather surreal. I had never seen a movie quite like this one. I'm not sure why people find funny parts in it. To me it was kinda like a sexy, stylized noir film. There was a lot of suspense and eroticism....but definitely no comedy.
