One of the few biopics of a musican that actually depictes their death

I really dislike how most biopics (mostly about musicians) always end on the musicians last big triumph in their life and you only hear about their death via text on the screen. As if to give their sad deaths a happy ending. I can't even think of another movie that actually does depict the death of the person.

Dragonzord! Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Toothed Tiger! Tyrannosaurus!

Well, for example, you have the film "The Doors" by Oliver Stone, starring Val Kilmer that depicts the death of Jim Morrison.

You are right in general though. Most of the time, we're just informed of their death by a before the credit card.
This is, I guess, mostly because most of the directors wants to focus on their life and their achievements, not on their deaths.

Some might find me morally challenged or morally ambiguous. I prefer morally creative.

So does Immortal Beloved.

There is also Selena.

It's not really a biopic, though, is it? The film is about Salieri and his war with God; Mozart is merely the battleground.

The worst offender is the HBO movie CALLED "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers" but it ends waaay before his death.
