When Mozart is at the party with his wife and father, the camera focuses several times on a boy in the crowd. He's about 6 or 7, and he's deeply admiring Mozart's playing. Who is this boy supposed to be? Is it Beethoven, who was indeed an admirer of Mozart, and who would have been about that age at the time? Any musical historians care to comment?

shareWhat is the source of that? First of all it's not historically accurate (though not that it needs to be) but more importantly how do we know that's what the filmmakers intended? Sounds like someone just took a message board speculation and wrote it into the trivia section
shareNot sure where the trivia section got this from but Beethoven didn't move to Vienna until he was 21 (around the time Mozart died).
