Right well it was on BBC 1 tonight and i was sort of watching but distracted by being on here so i missed most parts.
Anyway i dont understand the whole arrangement, like terry (is that her name) giving up her body for Edwina to get what out of it exactly?
i mean if it was to get money or w/e how would she spend it with no money?

Terry was planning to take advantage of Edwina's last will and testament and have her former employer's fortune for herself
Edwina takes up residence in Terry's body as originally planned, so that she and Roger can live a happy, carefree life with her fortune
I think Becky was asking if Terry did not have evil intentions, what would have been her motive for giving away her soul. There would be no altruistic reason for terry to do it.
shareTerry assumed the whole idea was nonsense. She would gladly take Edwina's money and there wasn't any likelihood at all that Edwina's soul would migrate into her body. I would probably make the same assumption, wouldn't you?
shareYes, but that doesn't explain what edwina imagines Terry's motive is supposed to be for wanting to give up her body - in effect to kill herself. It seems unlikely that anyone would even think of asking another person to do that. It's a preposterous idea really. Edwina is selfish and arrogant, but to actually think that someone is supposed to want to die to prolong her life is crazy even for her.
shareEdwina thought that Terry's motive was to reach the nirvana state. Absolute happiness for the rest of her "existence".
