I bought the DVD today and I was so pissed on how the film transferred looked. To me it looks like that mastered the DVD off of a vhs.
I hope a BLU-RAY release will have a new transfer. I just hope the negative isn't in bad shape! The film might need a major restoration...

shareI love this movie. Watching Steve Martin attempt to walk while sharing his body with Lilly Tomlin is about as hard as I have ever laughed. I was just about to buy the DVD on Amazon until I read the reviews and how bad the picture and audio are. I hope it is released at some point.
