The DUMBEST thing I've ever seen (even for TV!!!)

In the episode, "Grandmommie Dearest," Mona's mother visits and disapproves of Tony and Angela's engagement, because he's "working-class" and she's more of a "blue-blood" (despite whatever job he were to get in the future, after finishing college). However, the actress that portrayed her only looked a year or two older than Mona (they didn't hire an older actress, nor even TRY to make this one - I forget her name - look older). It was soooooo stupid!!! And then to confirm it for myself, I looked up each of their birthdates (Mona and the one who portrayed her mother) and they were both born in 1928!!! They all must of have been on drugs the day they filmed the episode, IMO.

AND the grandmother's opinion was SO important now - but for 8 years we didn't even know she existed? That seemed so bizarre to me.

Yes it was confirmed that for that episode only, everyone was high on drugs while making it
