Where's his helmet?

In the opening credits you see Tony sliding head first into home plate without wearing a helmet. I've never seen that before. That's dangerous.

That was in a slow pitch softball league. It was in an episode where Tony playes for one team, and Angela plays for another.

In slow pitch, no one wears a batting helmet.

Yeah but if you're not wearing a helmet it's not a good idea to dive head first into home plate.

It's Tony Danza. What's it going to hurt if he gets hit in the head?
