I'm sorry but it's true. She wasn't any match for a hunk like Tony. Much like Dorothy on The Golden Girls, she had a manliness to her.

She was so bony too. And her hairstyle, the shoulder pads and the 80's/90's clothes in general didn't help there xD I think she looks better now than she did back then.

I've always considered her an attractive woman in a "power" sense. She has a very strong presence (but I never thought of her as "manly.") I don't think Angela was ever meant to be a knockout beauty; I thought the casting of JL was appropriate to the character's personality.

Regarding Tony, if you really just look at both of them, both are average in the face in general.

It really was just the clothes. There are tons of episodes where she looks really beautiful, but there are just as many where the fashions of the 80's just destroyed her.

I wouldn't say ugly but I never thought she was very attractive. Today is her 64th birthday by the way so happy birthday Angela Bower.

"Is this how you take a bath? You look like Ernie from Sesame Street."
