Just Finished Watching the ENTIRE Series

1. Mona was a great character, but HELL! Sometimes she was just rude and slutty for no reason. lol. Like, she couldn't make an appearance without talking about sex or putting down Angela. She really pissed me off in the episode when they went to AC and she gambled away Angela's car and necklace and NEVER apologized. #byeFelicia

2. Jonathan should have just been a gay character! lol.
2a. Jonathan also should have had more lines. He was very funny. He had good comedic timing and a knack for physical comedy. Too bad he didn't get much screen time as an older kid. In Season 7, it seemed the only time he came on the screen was to usher Billy off.

3. Billy was a no-no!

4. Why??? Tony & Angela should have been sleeping in the same room. Their sexual tension was killing me! LMAO

5. I know a lot of people hate it, but I appreciate Sam growing into a Connecticut-type girls. She adapted. I mean, she was still a brat and I'm not a big fan of Hank or any of the guys she dated for that matter, but whatever.

6. Tony could have found a job waaaay closer than Iowa that would have offered him the same benefits, I think.

7. Ms. Rossini ... ahhh! I loved her!

8. Tony was a little out of control in Season 8. A lot of things seemed overacted.

9. The theme song!! The first one and the second one were perfect!

10. What episode was it that Tony and Sam were tap dancing? It's in the Season 7-8 theme song montage?

11. The montage of Sam at her wedding was beautiful. She really grew up on that show, so did Jonathan, but he had like 3 episodes focused on him.

12. I liked how Sam and Jonathan stayed brother and sister and there was never any sexual tension between them.

13. Tony & Judith/ Tony & Angela's chemistry was on-point. There was never a point in the series when I didn't see their admiration for each other by their acting. Not once. They were in love from the 1st season to the last.

14. No movie?

Yeah, she was only like Frosh/Soph in college. Not much more than that. so, 18 or 19 because she left school earlier than her HS peers.

Alyssa Milano really did "grow up" on this show, as your original post stated. And maybe it was more than you and most viewers realize.

*Unless she was "acting"*, she did a talk show interview and stated how embarrassed she was in the show when "Sam" go her first bra. She said it really was her first bra, and that made it all the more difficult!

In some ways, this show was educational for kids and parents both.
One of my brothers was teaching "special education classes" with nearly all of the 13 and 14-yr old girls pregnant... (thus the "special education" part.)
One of the "shout shows" (you know, the ones with DNA and lie detector tests...) had a 12-yr old girl on that got pregnant at 11.

Folks, episode 7.19 "Let Her Tell You 'Bout The Birds And The Bees" was a needed 'poke' that people have far less time to talk with their kids than they imagine. (HINT, HINT!!)

P.S. Where did you get the episodes to view them all?
Really would be helpful; also, werre they edited to run in the "current" 30-minute time slots too, or not?

Hi!

Thank you for responding!
And I watched all of the episodes on youtube! Most of them were by a user called LoveJudithEllenLight. They're still available as far as I know.

They r reairing the series in tv land and on tgn network.

It also seems to be on the CW air broadcasts (free! no high speed internet needed...) as well, but the schedule is extremely chopped up and spread across most of a day. (Near the end of season 7 as of today...)

I'd probably buy a DVD series set of that if it was available. I missed years of that show when I was working late shifts, back when it was originally on broadcast TV...

Yeah, the dynamic between Ms. Rossini and Mona was very funny. And she was definitely like Tony's mom.

It really is a good show.

Do you suppose she was a fan of Joan Rivers? (RIP Joan.)
