I think he's very brave. Of course, it's sad that he has to be the one from his generation to represent this disease (sounds odd saying it that way).
I remember watching him years ago on As the World Turns, before he even was cast on Who's the Boss?...he did a great job of entertaining us, and I hope he has more peace in his life now.
