The character's weaknesses or achilles heel?

Great team, but what, if any, were each character's flaws, either emotional or physical?

Tuck's obesity? Will's violent temper and grief (for his dead wife)? Much's naiivety? Nasir's honourable way of dealing with rivals from 'home'?
What of Robin/Robert and Marian? Being in love and losing their clarity and 'hard edge'?

In one episode John sneaks back from a village after 'seeing' his love, Meg (and thus pursued by Norman troops) only to be berated by Robin for risking the villagers' at the wrath of Guisburne, who might make the connection between them and the outlaws.

I started thinking that Robin, dishing out orders, was alright in the love stakes- but what about the rest getting lonely in the woods? We see fleeting examples of Will or John in love during the three series but surely they all deserved their share of companionship?

The Sheriff & "Ginsburg"s passion that "dare not speak its name"?

LOL!

Explains more cock-up (I'll get me coat) on the part of the Norman's than anything!

I just think the Sheriff & Guy were like a moaning/prattling old couple or older/younger man pairing who stuck together because they couldn't imagine another person there!

Their humour, timimg, scripting & timing have often mad me rename the show "The Sheriff & his boy" or "Rob and Guy show".

Priceless characters beautifully portrayed!

(Robert Addie used to be a bit of a nutter in pubs, y'know. Got into the odd scrape. Big fella, liked a drink, but bloody serious about his craft & very deep; he just didn't suffer fools gladly. LOVED him in "Red Dwarf" - what a sense of humour!

"I don't recall dying - must have happened when I was too drunk to give a flying FU.....
