Was Marion treated fairly?
One of my favourite episodes is the Witch of Elsdon in which Marion is annoyed at the blatant inequality she faces. It seems at the end of the episode Robin recognises her as an equal member of the group yet if you look at later episodes she's pretty much always the one holding the cart or sort of staying behind with Much in the fight or looking after the injured members or the one who gets captured. She's sort of doing the same thing that she complained about she's playing the nurse or "motherly" role. She's one of the least active out of all of them. I'm not saying she does nothing at all and just sits there but she doesn't get as involved as everyone else does even though it's her and Robin who have the connection and meetings with Herne who gudies and directs their decsion making. Or is this just me?
What do people think was Marion still treated like the typical "woman" of the group and thus not able to contribute as much. Did Robin and the others view her as an equal?
What do you think?
