"A treatment featuring an older Robin would be interesting, and provided you could guarantee the same quality in front of and behind the camera, I'd have no problem in principle."
Same here - there isn't much need to try and improve it - except perhaps the odd electronic sound effect, which sounds a little cheesy nowadays.
"Funnily enough, I read a piece about "Robin and Marian" the other day, where Sean Connery said that the original title was "The Death of Robin Hood", only for it to be changed as apparently test audiences didn't like the idea of the hero dying..."
I recall hearing something along those lines. I think a treatment like Robin & Marion would be a nice ending for Robin of Sherwood (and a little apt if played by Jason Connery) but death has shown it has no place in the R.O.S world. The death scene was played out beautifully by Michael Praed, and since Robin is replaced, any further 'deaths' would be superfluous.
Anyway, we'll see what happens. Maybe something special could come from it.
