Anyone notice that some of the sound effects...
...come from Star Trek and Star Wars?
I've been watching the old series again and noticed that some of the sounds for electronic devices are very similar to those from the Star Trek original series, (i.e. Tricorder, sounds from the bridge controls, etc.)While the sounds of aircraft/machines often sound like TIE fighters or other spacecraft from Star Wars. I thought I even heard sounds from Battlestar Galactica, but maybe my nostalgic ear was playing tricks on me...
