whats with the Transformers music?

so i know the animated movie used music from Transformers's 3rd season but the series is on tv right now and its using music from Transformers again.

i know both shows were produced by the same company and had pretty much the same behind the scenes people and actors on both but sharing music? you're telling me they couldnt create original music for each?

thats just sad. lol

These weren't big budget productions. It was a kids cartoon show that was produced under license from a toy company wanting to market it's toys. Frankly some of the animation was amazing, considering the technological and budget limitations that they were working under. Most of the eps didn't feature origional music because this kind of production doesn't have a professional composer on staff to write and record an origional score for each episode. Instead s sound mixer mostly just use the same handful of musical tracks in each episode.

The same reason you saw props, costumes and ship models cross over Star Trek The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager. To save money.

well thats sorta different because its live action plus all three shows takes place in the same universe and time period, so of course they'd share props etc...

but i getcha. :P
