Does anyone remember the GI Joe and Transformers crossover episode?

I recently watched it on NetFlix, it happened in Season 3 of Transformers, and it was entitled "Only Human". A synopsis is listed below:

"Criminals get help from a mysterious person called "Snake." He has a device which transfers the personalities of Rodimus, Springer, and Arcee into human bodies. The criminals take the transformers bodies on a crime spree. The human Autobots must find a way to get their bodies back. Watch for a surprising twist for the masked person known as "Snake."

Well Snake was a reference to Cobra Commander and at the end he states that Terrorists are not what they used to be and then shouts "Cobra". Snake had the traditional Cobra Commander Helmet and if you pay attention to his hands, it looks like he is wearing part of Serpentors uniform, specifically the gloves. If you stripped away the trench coat, it was bascially Cobra Commander.

If was making an appearance in Transformers as a down an out terrorist, then what happened to Cobra after the DIC series? It would have been an interesting mashup to see how Cobra operated in the Transformers universe and what happened to Cobra that led CC to become a down and out terrorist for hire.

I love that episode with Cobra Commander. The fact that what was then the future Cobra Commander was working for hire to other terrorist and criminal organisations suggests that COBRA was no longer in existance as a result of finaly being defeated by GI JOE or fell apart due to power struggles within COBRA.

Marisa Fairbourne the human space pilot in season 3 who aided the Autobots every now and then was Flints daughter meaning another conection to GI JOE.Flints surename was Fairbourne and in one episode (The Killing Jar) when the Quintisons tricked Marisa into entering their booby trapped space ship they used a holigram of her father who resembled an older Flint to lure her in.Also Marisa's father had the same voice actor as Flint.
