I just watched this episode the other day and the snake isn't given a name. Serpentor refers to it as "My pet" and doesn't give it a name.

shareI just watched that episode too, you was right, no mention of its name, just that its his favorite thing(that and its venom), I was surprised he didn't just give a drink to cobra commander, and that he showed him what it would do to him, might be as close to showing mercy as he ever gets.

It's a little odd watching that one with Serpentor talking about how he was some kind of ancient snake king and Cobra Commander has this sort of "Yeah, right crazy." attitude about him, but then in the movie we get the reveal of Commander's origin and Cobra-La.
I know that this episode was made way before all of that was created, but it's odd watching it in retrospect.
i wonder if that ancient snake king that had that big pet snake was from cobra la, one thing I find odd is that dr mindbender was an orthodontist before he was an evil cobra scientist

Dr. Mindbender was an orthodontist before joining Cobra?! Wow, that's a huge career change. Wonder if he wore the cape back then, too.
shareyeah, I think he was working on a new way to block pain and then something went wrong, made him evil and well, you see the rest, I guess cobra now has a really good dental plan=^), im wondering if cobra didn't cause the messup that warped his brain, it wouldn't surprise me if they did
