Beach Head actor change in 'Let's Play Soldier'

Does anyone know the actual reason that Dan Gilvezan, who was the voice actor for Slipstream, played Beach Head's part in "Let's Play Soldier" rather than the regular voice actor for him, Bill Callaway? Not looking for speculation, found plenty of that. Just such a drastic difference in performance, in that Gilvezan sounded nothing like how Callaway played Beach Head.

I've hesitated to respond since you only want facts and not speculation, but after nearly two months with none of the former let me just toss out a bit of the latter.

In animated series like these it's not at all unusual for them to use another voice actor as a stand in on occasion when the primary actor is either unavailable or the character's part is small, thus making it cheaper to simply use an actor already on hand for a primary role rather than bringing in the usual voice actor for a few lines.

Yeah I know that the voice acting back then was nowhere near as easy to deal with issues like missing actors as now. It was just such a drastic change that it didn't make much sense. I've always wondered what the actual reason was.

It's one of those that have been driving me crazy since the episode came out. I used to record them all back then and that was the one that always bugged me. I could handle all the animation issues back then. Most of the time an actor filled in, they at least tried to sound like the orginal actor. This was no where near the name and was played like a totally diffrent character. I was just scared at the time they would change Beach Head to that full time.
