Who Performed the Theme?
Anyone know who performed the theme song, particularly the lead singer?

I'd still like to know.

2009-2014... that's some patience! I'm sorry. If I'd seen it earlier I would've responded. I believe the answer you're looking for is Ford Kinder and Spencer Michlin, who also co-wrote the song. The narration ("G.I. Joe is the codename...") is by the great Jackson Beck.
He went to Bespin Luke Skywalker, but he left Hand Solo
Two years belated, but thanks!

Lol, no worries and you're very welcome. This was one of those instances where you get a notification in your inbox and at first you can't remember replying to that particular thread. But then I came here to reply and it jogged my memory.

I don't have mine set to automatically receive replies in my mailbox. Just happened to be perusing my old forum messages when I found this - hence the late response!

This Summer it'll be 11 years since I joined IMDb (I see the same is true for you), and I've remained pretty active that entire time. The cool thing about that is I have dozens and dozens of posts on boards I've totally forgotten about and every now and then I get a blast from the past in my inbox.

Yeah, I signed up just a month after! (Though I had a previous account, registered in 2002, to which I forgot the password.)

I can't wrap my mind around it being over a decade. It literally seems like last year.
I can thankfully count my bad experiences here on one hand and by and large I've enjoyed my time on the various IMDb boards. And here I am, 11 years later, still pouring over the minutia of 30 year old movies and TV shows!
