Writing credits....

....according to IMDB:

Franc Roddam (20 episodes, 1983-2004)
Ian La Frenais (18 episodes, 1983-2004)
Dick Clement (11 episodes, 1983-2004)
Stan Hey (2 episodes, 1983-1984)

I always thought that Clement and Frenais wrote everything, but I've seen Stan Hey credited for at least one of the episodes in series 2. Did Hey write individual episodes or was it a collaborative effort with C&F?

Am I right in thinking that Roddam contributed nothing but the based on an original idea by?

Franc was never writer for any episodes. Stan Hey was the writer of episodes, 'Home Thoughts From Abroad' & 'When The Boat Goes Out' from series 1. He also wrote some of the fans favourite episodes from Series 2, 'A Home From Home' 'Cowboys' 'No Sex Please We're Brickies' and 'Law and Disorder'.

The Lovers from Series 1 was written by Bernie Cooper and Francis Megahy.
