You are of course....wrong. It's a nightmare surreal classic and deserves to boil away in my handbag trouser clasp forever more.

Hi everyone ...

I'm Harry and I directed this film Xtro over 20 years ago.

I'm tremendously happy that it still makes some people sick -- but you should know that, at the time, we were just young people trying to be offensive and we had no idea that the film would achieve cult status. In fact, if you bother to rent the just re-released DVD, you might see the silly interview I did for the DVD people. They wanted me to do a voice over director thing, but I just couldn't stand it.

Thank you so much, everyone for both liking and hating this film. My God ... at least we got some attention.

best wishes,

Harry Bromley-Davenport

Hi Harry,

This new dvd will be the second one I buy, as I recently purchased a 2 Disc German dvd from Marketing Films and it comes with the alternate endings. They are very interesting!

My mate and I live in Australia and he grew up watching this film on worn out VHS, so its great that there will be a good dvd atlast! He saw it at a delapitated cinema under a Milk Bar in the CBD when he was young, a double feature with New Line's "ALone in the Dark". He always mentions how seeing "Xtro" was a defining moment in his love of horror films! I saw it for the first time several years ago and whilst a flawed movie, it has some very surreal and disturbing images and makes for great "DRIVE-IN" entertainment.

Take care and thanks for the nightmares!

Wow!

Posts that are recent on a movie that's as old as dirt! lol!

Fantastic!

I saw this movie when I was a kid and I was definitely wierded out. Very squeemish and it gave me that pee feeling in my shorts!

I just double checked Harry323-1 profile and recent posts. Hilarious! Hey guy, good to see you're still alive .. your presence is like pulling a relic out of my childhood man. I've seen almost every cult horror put out. I was the kind of kid that got his dad to rent every "Faces of Death" movie that was out at the time and Mondo Magic while eating Burger King. Yep, TMI? Perhaps but lets face it, most of us who liked this crap (Or made it) had a time we weren't right in the head.

Anyway, this was nostalgic. Than
