I have to say that the newly released DVD from IMAGE is fantastic and easily blows out the water any previous release, in particular the VHS like quality release from Germany.

The widescreen print is AMAZING for this kind of film! The stereo sound is very clear and crisp with very nice dynamics. It also has the alternate endings, a deleted scene and a very interesting interview with the director!

If you love the film, or heck, just love surrealist trash, BUY THIS NOW!

I would prefer to have USA DVD region, but thanks anyway.

The release from Image is Region 1 USA.

Harry's interview would probably be worth $15 even if the movie wasn't on the DVD as well :). And I think I paid more like $10 plus postage for my copy from the web.

I checked Amazon.com and it sells at 10 dollar or at least. It is used and new DVDs. I think I should buy at Amazon.com instead.

I love the interview with director Harry Bromley Davenport on the Image Region 1 DVD. I especially enjoyed his hilariously harsh no-holds-barred comments about Jan-Michael Vincent's appallingly unprofessional conduct on the set of "Xtro II: The Second Encounter." The theatrical trailer, deleted scene, alternate ending and still and poster gallery were likewise very cool extras as well.

Agree about the dvd interview! That should go down as one of the most hilarious dvd special features supplements ever! Pitty the film is so obscure, so only us guys can enjoy it.

I finally got this dvd in the mail yesterday. The interview with the director was fun. I do wish it had a commentary though.

Still, its a must have on dvd. I love this classic.
