Who remembers the band that Maggie Ehrig was the singer for in the early 1980's

Hint-Paul and Kira Roessler were in the band

DING DING We have a winner! "Twisted Roots" Pat Smear was in the band too.

Back in 1981 I liked the idea of Twisted roots(I thought Paul and Pat were cool) more than their music Which If i remember correctly was very bizzare experimental stuff.

Twisted Roots sure didn't last very long. For some reason the have always stuck in my head. I remember talking to Paul Roesller in 1983 about Twisted Roots and he seemed almost embarrassed about it, like it was something he wanted to forget.

didn't one of them join up with the early stages of Black Flag?

Actually it was the later stages of black flag like 83/84 Kira played Bass with them.

Pat Smear was also in the Germs.

Pat Smear was also later in the Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl is often seen wearing a Germs t-shirt.

Loved her in Suburbia, wound up friending her on MySpace a few years back and we corresponded a little, she was very cool and down to earth! Cool trivia tidbit: she said she's in every crowd scene in Blade Runner. :)
