Remake

This would be an interesting remake. I'd pick Channing Tatum to play Skinner. Any other suggestions?

I'm sick of *beep* remakes. Why cant people think up any new ideas?

A remake would be good just to see this films great plot redone with better acting, but then again it would lose its rawness at the same time, so i'm half and half on the matter

You could NEVER recapture what Penelope did with this movie, because it would have abunch of real actors and not real punks in it like this.Thats why this movies awesome, its real punks acting not real actors acting like punks.

Pfffft. No sense in a remake...it would defeat the purpose of the original...remakes suck.

A remake would only succeed in bastardizing another classic with modern movie glitz. Spheeris used real punks off the street for a reason. When you remake a movie you try to improve on the original (at least you should try to improve on it. Some don't). The only way to improve on the original is if you put real actors in it, but then you lose the grit and authenticity, which is what made the movie special in the first place.

I think it would be totally great with like Ben Affleck as Jack and like Adam Brody as Evan and they could even like have Sum 41 play in it! Avril could play Sheila and it would be sooooo cute because like her husband is totally in Sum 41!! They could shoot it in Vancouver since the TR house is a freeway now and Jerry Bruckheimer could totally produce it and it would be soooooo cool! And Jack's crummy car could be a Kia because like Kias are crummy but soooooo cute!

This film doesn't need a remake; it's fine the way it is.
