Favorite song?

What's everyone's favorite song on this movie? Mine is definetly "Wash Away" by TSOL.

reply

Urban Struggle by the Vandals, or Pat Brown (I'd say the TSOL songs too, but I dunno, I like the other songs on their early stuff better).

reply

yeah pat brown was great.

The Vandals - Legend of Pat Brown

Stevo's bright orange hair was hilarious.

reply

Come on guys no love for D.I? Probably one of the best versions of "Richard Hung Himself"

the track for DI was cool too. I've managed to *cough*borrow*cough* that off the net... along with the two TSOL songs. Pretty good.

Speaking of which, does anyone know where I could get this version of The Vandals "Legend of Pat Brown"? I'd buy the album soundtrack, but $15 is too steep for one song when I already have the rest of them.

if anyone knows, email me. [email protected]

reply

nobody knows where to get it?

reply

I don't understand. Why don't you download it from the internet? And by the way, if you like Pat Brown, why don't you simply buy the Vandals album? There it is:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000005EN6/qid=1122846119/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-8390182-6409735?v=glance&s=music&n=507846

reply

Because I already have the studio version of "Peace Thru Vandalism/When in Rome do as the Vandals", and I was saying that the version of Pat Brown from Suburbia isn't anywhere to be found on the internet. I've searched high and low for it and can't seem to find it anywhere. It was easy to find the rest of them though.

D.I. is an awesome band too. Honestly, this movie has such good music.

I have to go w/ Richard Hung Himself.- DI
"Have some fu**ing fun, move up!"
Ah...the good ol' days.
I haven't seen this movie since I was at least 17! Didn't even realize til now that Flea was in it and that Jack was a real actor! Gosh I miss this flick, it kept my little punk ass sane back in HS.

What is the song where they're all sitting around watching tv and to the tune of Ghost Riders in the Sky the lyrics sound like "I want to be the cowboy." I listened to the samples at amazon.com and apparently it wasn't included. Could someone give me the title and the artist?

someone told me years ago that the "I want to be a cowboy" song was by the Gun Club.Don't know if that's right or not though.Richard hung himself gets my vote anyway.Great film.

reply

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the one song I will love from this movie is "Richard Hung Himself." I mean, the whole soundtrack is great, but that song stays with me. Nice and dismal.

Don't mess around with Pat Brown. He tried to run the cops down. Steve O and Joey know.
