This article was dated November 1st 1982 and mentions the Twilight Zone incident and the increasingly dangerous stunts in Hollywood at the time. It's interesting because there is an anonymous crew member who mentions that it would be hard for people to tell the truth about the incident as it would severely jeopardize their careers.
In retrospect he/she is probably talking about Landis and the producers illegally hiring the children and the dangerous pyrotechnics, but I wonder what else was at work on the set that morning.
