Nobody's mentioned how stunning Kathleen Quinlan was

I was a young boy of 17 when I saw this movie, and hot damn! Kathleen Quinlan really got my motor running. She was awesome looking in this movie, and I wouldn't have minded her staying with me and taking care of me forever. I was hoping she would go on to bigger and better things, but her career never exploded the way I thought it would. She's worked steadily, yes, and there is the oscar nomination, but she never became an A-list star.

I asked the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

K.Q. sure had that sexy, wholesome, 200% female look about her that makes my jeans feel tight in front. She reminds me of a sitter I had when I was a 6 year old brat..always looked forward to the folks going out for the evening.

But what was a 27 year old hottie going to do with a 10 year old kid when they went off together...teach? What was she gonna "teach" Anthony and what was she gonna "learn" from him? Was this supposed to be the original Mary Kay LeTourneau teacher/kid molestation?

Damn, that's a good description of KQ, and absolutely accurate. Wholesome, feminine, and drop dead sexy.

But you're right about the LeTourneau thing. Damn, I wish I were Anthony!

Kathy was hot at 19 in American Graffiti as Cindy Williams' best friend and at 49 in Breakdown as Kurt Russell's kidnapped wife...just something about her. A very, very sexy actress!

i saw the twilight zone movie last night on one of those hbo channels and i came to imdb today to see who played helen . i had no idea when i watched the movie that that was kathleen quinlan , she was so stunning in that movie . i also did not know that the sister ethel was nancy cartwright aka bart simpson

Not the Hottest Girl I've seen but definately the only reason to continue watching Segment 3! Definately a hottie in '83.

Yes, she is. She doesn't look much different in Breakdown from 1997.

Sometimes things are right there, you just don't know it right away

I agree completely. She was absolutely gorgeous here and perfectly cast in the role. Great-looking mouth, beautiful teeth. I was salivating over her. What a babe! And she's still a fox!

I remember when I saw her in this movie for the first time when I was a kid. I would wish I was Anthony so I coulld be with her. Absolutely gorgeous! One of my two favorite 80's hotties. The other is Adrienne Barbeau.
