Kick the can was more Amazing Stories than Twilight Zone

Who else thinks so even if this movie and the show predated Amazing Stories?

I agree it would fit right in with Amazing stories - too cutesy for twilight zone imo

The last 2 segments make up for it since they are proper twilight zone stories and this movie is a mix of horror and fantasy stories as the third story is a mix of both while part 4 is sci-fi/horror.

I don't know anything about Amazing Stories, but as I watched this segment, I thought to myself, "This is so mawkish and sappy, it must have been directed by Steven Spielberg."

Yep. It kinda sucked. Definitely the wrong fit for Twilight Zone.

I never liked that episode in Twilight zone and I definely hated it in the movie...definely didnt feel like a Twilight Zone type of episode.
