The only reason to watch this is Kathleen Quinlan.
She was a vision in those days. Absolutely lovely.

Yes and yes. He was a lucky young boy, beginning a long, new, and open journey with her as his teacher and all.
Classic beauty.
Sexy, damn sexy. That red and white striped top and that chest...woof!
shareI was just watching this otherwise woebegone movie (forever tainted by the Landis segment, and only the Lithgow segment is really exciting) and...yeah, she was the sexiest, loveliest and most involving person in it.
Its funny. For a few years before The Twilight Zone -- as in the movie Lifeguard -- Quinlan's angular features were not all that pretty...somewhat mousy. Looked a bit like Barry Manilow!
But after a few more years, those features became quite sexy and beautiful...and stayed that way on up through "mature" roles, like the ones she played in "Apollo 13" (1995) and "A Civil Action" (1998). And she always had a great voice.
In The Twilight Zone, her face(often in close-up) is beautiful and her gymnast's body "with curves" is indeed shown off in that top. She's mesmerizing...even if the segment isn't.
Final trivia: For a coupla years there, Quinlan was Al Pacino's Number One girlfriend. I think during this period when she looked her best.
She was a stunner in The Doors too. Even nudity in it.
shareYes she was pretty... and still is.
I disagree thought. John Lithgow was really good.
Kathleen was definitely an attractive woman. I don't know if I'd consider her as a "vision" even back when Twilight Zone was released.
shareI first noted her as a super cutie in American Graffiti. 😁
shareI'm re-watching it soon because I just found out after all these years that Anthony's mouth-less big sister Sara was played by Cherie Currie of The Runaways.
