I was just curious after looking at the casting and noticed that Mr. Murphy is neither listed as the top billed actor in this nor even the second (after Mr. Aykroyd). Is this some kind of imdb error? Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd were both the main stars of this film and should have earned top billing.

shareMurphy was not only a huge comedy star doing stand up and SNL, he did 48hrs before this movie and it was just as big a smash hit as Trading Places. I woudl hardly call him a movie nobody. That said, cast is listed in order of appearance. The fact that a character actor like Denholm Elliot is listed first as well as obscure extras most with no speaking part are listed after Dan Aykroyd should have been a giveaway.
