Saddest film of all time...
I swear it is... I feel nothing but a terrible sadness when I watch this. Strangely, it isn't all that depressing (save that for "Dead Man Walking"), just horribly sad.

Have said that although they're glad they saw it, they'll never watch it again, and I think about 80% of the folks on the board say they cried like crazy.
I recommend it wholeheartedly, it's based on true events.
